BRE Fee Changes

The BRE have announced an increase in their fees, effective from September 1st 2026.

The new pricing structure will apply to all registrations made on or after this date.

Here are the key details of the fee increase:

• New Construction & Refurbishment schemes - £750 registration fee + 5% inflationary increase

• All other schemes - 5% increase

• BREEAM Service fees - 5% increase

To take advantage of the existing pricing structure, projects must be registered before 23:59 on August 31st 2026. This presents an opportunity for those considering BREEAM assessments to lock in the current, lower fees.
